The following explains our responsibilities regarding your order with us, and how your transaction will be handled.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Stable Yard Distillery Ltd website shop.

This website is owned and operated by Stable Yard Distillery Ltd. 

By placing an order with Stable Yard, you acknowledge to have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at info@stableyarddistilery.co.ukbefore placing your order with us.

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us, we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

We have taken care to describe and show items as accurately as possible but despite this, slight variations in items may occur. All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates.

Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website.

We may refuse at our discretion to accept an order:
1 where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
2 if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
3 if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
4 where goods ordered by you are not available;
5 if we do not deliver to your area;

Where we do not accept your order but have processed your payment, we will re-credit your account with any amount deducted by us from your debit or credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to pay any additional amount as compensation for disappointment.

By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are over 18 and agree to an electronic age verification check to confirm this. By placing an order, you consent to a credit data search, which will leave an ID check footprint. If we cannot confirm your age via an electronic check, we reserve the right to request proof of age and/or decline to fulfil your order. Orders cannot be dispatched until your age has been verified regardless of shipping option selected.

It is an offence to attempt to buy alcohol if you are under 18 years of age or to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol for persons under the age of 18.

We use PayPal and Stripe for all our online payments.

Payment shall be due before delivery. If payment fails, your order will be cancelled. There will be no delivery until clear funds have been received.

Processing Your Order & Delivery

If your order is received by 11 am, we’ll do our best to dispatch it the next working day. We try to process all orders within 1 working day of receiving them, however as we use a third-party courier on occasion we do experience some breakages which may delay your order.

Our couriers will require a signature for the delivered goods, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by Stable Yard Distillery and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

On delivery please check the condition of the parcel, if it is damaged please do not except the delivery. If this happens please contact us and we will resend a replacement once confirmation from the courier has been sent.

o purchase products from Stable Yard Distillery, you must be of legal age to buy alcohol in the country in which you reside.

Delivery will only be made to individuals of legal purchase age and our delivery company will require signature on delivery. Our delivery company will check ID if they are unsure of the recipients age.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to addresses outside the UK. You may place an order for Product(s) from outside the UK if you have a UK billing address for your credit or debit card, but the order must be for delivery to an address within the UK.
 

Delivery Options & Restrictions
We will aim to dispatch your goods the next working day after delivery, for next day delivery please contact the distillery and we will see if we can fulfill your requirements. 

Please note that any orders placed between 12 noon on Friday and midnight Sunday will be dispatched Tuesday.

We reserve the right to upgrade your delivery to a better service at our cost.
We currently only dispatch items within the UK.

Delivery should normally be made by 5:30 pm.

Delivery timescales are set by the couriers.
Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform and refund you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
 

Returns & Exchanges

For cancellations or returns please contact us via e-mail us at info@stableyarddistillery.co.uk. Depending on circumstances, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods ordered, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible. We may require you to return the goods to us in the original packaging as soon as reasonably practicable. Refunds will be for the price paid for goods only and will not include and price paid for shipping.

Disclaimer

While we use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information we specifically disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, reliability, or operability or availability of information or material displayed in any and all our web sites, either now operating or created in the future. We disclaim any responsibility or liability for the deletion, failure to store, mis-delivery, or untimely delivery of any information or material. We also disclaim any responsibility or liability for any harm resulting from downloading or accessing any information or material on the Internet through our website.

Jurisdiction

This website, these terms and conditions and any contract entered into as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Our website contains copyrighted material, trademarks and other proprietary information, including, but not limited to, text, software, photos, video, graphics, music and sound and the entire content of the web site is copyrighted as a collective work under UK and International copyright laws. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works or in any way exploit, any of the content, in whole or in part. Except as otherwise expressly permitted under copyright law or these Terms, no copying, redistribution, re-transmission, publication or commercial or non-commercial exploitation of downloaded material will be permitted without the express written permission from us as the copyright owner.
